Chaitanya reported here with chief complaints of delayed physical, mental & speech milestones with right sided weakness.

His history was suggestive of slightly pre – term normal delivery with development of hyperbilirubinemia on 3rd DOB; treated with exchange transfusion twice. On investigation BERA was suggestive of Sensory – neural deafness.

• On examination mild rigidity was observed in left half of body with moderate rigidity on right half.
• Functionally neck use to wobble a lot; sitting was possible with support only when made to do so for around 2 minutes. Limited supported standing was possible when made only.
• In hand function left sided dominancy was observed with fair to poor functioning of right hand.
• Was completely dependent on his activities of daily living with occasional drooling too.
• There was no indication for toilet needs and speech was limited to vocalisation only.
• Head circumference was 45.6 cm

Improvements noted in 11 months of G – Therapy :

• Improvement in the supported sitting / standing balance.
• Drooling has reduced.
• Started eating biscuits etc. independently.
• Started feeding in sitting position – occasionally only.
• Better understanding skill.
• Stool has become softer now.
• Increase in Head circumference (45.6 – 46 cm).
