Dear
Group
I am just so proud of my daughter Jessie. She is 7
1/2 and has been on G-therapy for the last 6 months. In fact, I
travelled to India and met Dr Oswal and posted my trip for the group.
- Her history - born prem at 26 weeks and weighed 875 grams.
- Her diagnosis - spastic diplegic with upper limb involvement.
- Her operations - hamstring lengthening a year and a half ago.
Had botox when she was 3.
- Her current status - walking with walker but needs splints to
correct her feet.
When Jess started Grade 1 she was'nt able to write and I was told
she had a visual perception problem (which she still does have)
but at prizegiving she received 2 trophies. 1 for Perseverence and
1 for Occupational Therapy.
2 certificates. 1 for schoolwork and 1 for physiotherapy. Her writing
has improved tremendously and we are now able to make out her letters
and numbers.
She will now be going into Grade 2.
When Jess takes the G-therapy I can see an overall improvement
and her physiotherapist agrees with me. I just had to share this
with all of you.
Debbie Cameron (Jessie's mother)
