History and condition before starting G – Therapy :

• She is the second child of a non consanguinous marriage with history of prematurity with breech presentation with low birth weight with microcephaly with history of hyperbilirubinaemia too.
• Exchange transfusion done once.
• History of convulsions too.
• On examination mild spasticity was found in lower extremities and left upper extremity.
• She was preferring kneel sitting to cross – legged sitting position.
• Her mode of ambulation was bunny – hopping and supported walking.
• Squatting position was possible only with support without heels touching the ground.
• Mild speech dysarthria and fair handwriting skills.

Improvements noted after 2 years of G – Therapy :

• Mild reduction of spasticity in bilateral lower extremities.
• Tendency of kneel sitting reduced now.
• Now comes independently to standing position and walks also independently up to desirable distance with a wide – based gait with right sided toeing tendency with good balance.
• Speech is very much clear now with improved vocabulary too.
• Better handwriting skills, can write alphabets, dates etc.
• Congnitively much better. Follows every commands, color concept also developed.
• Independent in her activities of daily living.
• Goes to a normal school now.
• Easily maintains the squatting position now.
