Case No 3: Guillain Barre Syndrome - Vegetative patient of two year duration.

The third case of Mr. Kulkarni is also unusual. He is a diabetic who suffered from G. B. Syndrome in June 94. He had an axonal and demylinating type of G. B. Syndrome. There was no improvement in him, in spite of plasmapheresis and he was vegetative for about a year and half. Then with Neuro G–Therapy he started showing sudden improvements.

With one year of treatment he could sit from sleeping position, could stand with support & now can walk with support. His NCV study after treatment showed, increase in amplitudes of Rt. Median, increased sensory amplitudes, though of lower velocities.
