Just three months after taking the pioneering G-Therapy treatment brave shereen Bamieh let go of her mum’s hands and walked. And the Crawley News was there to capture Shereen’s first steps on film. Mum Linda, of Barnwood Road, Pound Hill, said: "Shereen is not supposed to be alive now. "When she let go of my hand I was in disbelief. I never thought I would see her walk. We were to happy to cry. "I had never given up hope for Shereen but I was adjusting myself to thinking ‘well I have done my best’. But now who knows what she is going to do." Eight-year old Shereen was born severely brain damage with autistic and cerebral palsy tendencies. Linda, 41, said: "She used to be lost in her own world for hours." But just after two weeks of taking the alternative medicine G-Therapy Shereen’s balance came. Linda added: "Now she is actually trying to get words out. It is a remarkable breakthrough. She actually gets frustrated when she can’t express herself and stomps her feet. "Her face has changed, she has put on weight and gained muscle tone. "The G-Therapy has unblocked something to her brain." Dr. Abdelhadi Abdelhadi, consultant pediatrician at Crawley Hospital said: "I have known Shereen for a year and her walking is something w would never have anticipated. It is amazing." "There was very little hope for Shereen, her quality of life was poor." But Dr. Abdelhadi congratulated Shereen’s family for not giving up hope. He said: "Shereen has seen every specialist doctor in the UK, Germany and France. "The fact that G-Therapy worked shows that there are areas in the medical field which are still missing."
